Skype and Bluetooth Headset
 

Stuck here on getting a paired BT Mobi headset to work with Skype. It works fine on the Sype 'test call' but as soon as a 'real' person rings it apparently sounds like electronic jamming. Anyone had success?

Are you using a WiFi connection ? IIRC Bluetooth and WiFi share the same unlicensed ISM 2.4GHz band, and the signals can hop all over one another. The same goes if you have a DECT cordless handset close by aswell, that can interfere with both WiFi and BT connections.

Yes, but it DOES work on the Skype test call. That is the real puzzle. I could go back to a wired modem to try.
