%#8@ ipod shuffle!
Daughter and son recieved an ishuffle each last Christmas.
Both players worked fine until sons unit stopped working. ie; green light wont turn off and doesnt play the music .... and the updater program on the computer wont recognise his ishuffle. We have had two replacements from the local apple shop, but the players do exactly the same thing. :ugh: The replacement players came in a snaploc plastic bag and not in a box like the original. Are we getting the run around? Had a look on the apple site/forum and there seems to be a lot of other people having similar problems but very little useful advice is being offered. Has anyone here had these problems with the shuffle? |

Whiz, there are a lot of things to read on your links so it may take me some time to resolve this one. One thing stands out though and that is the number of people on those forums who have issues with the ishuffle players.
The people in the Apple shop here are starting to get up my nose. :ugh: The large file size of the latest ipod updater software is too large for my dialup connection to handle, so reseting the unit is nigh on impossible. I dont know where to go from here, although I will persist for a while on those links. |
My wife was using a Shuffle at work, but left it in the trouser pocket and it went through the washing machine!
I dried it out and tried to recharge the battery - no test lights on the battery, but the machine worked! The first recharge didn't last long, but subsequent charges brought it back up to speed. Amazing. So, if all else fails, wash it.:8   |
I think my sons shuffle will become a suppository for a certain Apple Shop employee. :hmm:
