Creating 3D animated text
I'd like to create a rotating logo for an upcoming presentation.
Imagine it this way: I want a long(ish) word, say, "Presentation" to appear like it is rotating around a vertical axis. If you stuck those fridge magnet letters to a glass cylinder, that would give the general idea. It needs to be animated, and I'd like the letters to appear metallic...
Asking a lot, perhaps, but which software package would best suit my needs (cheaply)?
