Outlook files
 

Just about to upgrade the daughters vintage PC running W95 to a new one. She wants to copy all her old emails over to the new machine. I need some backround information before I go over there and make meself look a prat.

XP stores outlook personal files in *.pst, does W95 do the same?
Are the files compatible? I guess she may have been using Outlook Express and the new machine will have Outlook 2003.

Tone

Using Outlook 2003 menu,

'FILE'
'IMPORT AND EXPORT'
'IMPORT FROM ANOTHER PROGRAM OR FILE'

You can import from outlook express versions 4, 5 and 6
or you can import a .pst file.


One of the above should sort you out.
