Removing a "corrupted " profile in XP
Hi,
Few weeks back I was unable to boot my PC in to my user profile, something had been corrupted on my user profile, and so windows loaded a default profile. I created a new profile, and transferred over the data etc so that the new profile was identical to the old one.I now want to delete the old profile, as I have accidentally booted up with the old one a few times. How do I remove a user profile in XP?? Toothpic |
1) How many profiles do you have?
2) What are their folder titles? 3) Which one did you want to boot into? |
Start, control panel, system, Advanced, Choose User Profiles, and click settings, and then delete the profile you don't want.
Let me know if you have any questions Phil |
