Hard Drive Temperature

Hi Everyone,
Could anyone tell me what is the average correct temperature of the hard drive on a desktop computer should be.
I have installed a Hard drive temperature monitor program that shows the temperature of the hard drive and it shows on average around 29c but the program does not give any guidelines on what the correct temp should be has anyone any thoughts on this one.

Re: Hard Drive Temperature

Assuming your hard drive is in your house and you have the heating on to say 21 deg C, then it's only 8 deg above ambient. Seagate are quoting 0 to 60 deg C operating temps and -40 to +70 deg C storage, so you've go a way to go yet!
