Webcam drivers

I have inherited a GEO webcam but no software. Any ideas on a website where I can pick up the drivers for said webcam?
Couldn't find anything for GEO itself

Re: Webcam drivers

Is there a part number on the bottom of the Webcam? If so, you could search for that on Google (include the word 'driver' in the search). I managed to find a driver for a second hand cam I bought on Ebay this way.

Re: Webcam drivers

If running XP you may be ok as the built in drivers seem to work with some webcams. One trick they occasionally have up their sleeves however, is that they sometimes don't like Graphics tablets and scanners in particular. If you get any unusual USB issues, then unplug the webcam and it may all revert to sweetness and light from there

Ta G and CTL.

Tried XP but it keeps demanding the installation disk which doesn't exist of course. Will revisit the problem

Try a search for "Generic webcam drivers+XP" Don't have a clue whether it might work, but I bet it will throw something of interest up.
