Auto-complete missing
Using Windows XP SP1 and Firefox browser with Yahoo homepage. Auto-complete has suddenly stopped working.
A Google search found this: 1. Enter about:config in the address bar 2. Right-click on the page and select New > Boolean 3. Enter browser.urlbar.autoFill as the preference name (note: it's case-sensitive) 4. Set the value to True 5. That's it. You don't even have to restart Firefox for the change to take effect. Nice. Tried it. Didn't work.  :{ :* |
I believe by following the action that you searched for on google, you have enabled the feature that autocomplete's URL's/address's as you type them into the address bar at the top of firefox... Probably not what you were after...
Did you want to autocomplete forms? Or have I read your post entirely incorrectly...? |
Fixed.
