Is this something bad?

I just found my screen saver frozen with a dialog box captioned "Windows screen saver" and a prompt saying "Enter master password".
I have never seen this before on this machine. Its an XP machine.
Hitting cancel and then ctrl-alt-del took me to the usual login screen.
Has anyone else seen this?
