OE missing e-mails
 

I have recently got BT Broadband Basic and the problem is this:

Some but by no means all e-mails are appearing on web mail but not on OE.

I have checked and the sender is definitely not on my "Blocked Senders" list. I have just sent an e-mail to myself using my new BT address as sender and receiver and the e-mail has not appeared on OE but is there in web mail.

Any ideas gratefully received.

Apologies in advance if I'm suggesting something really stupid, but have you checked your mail downloading settings?

If OE is not set to check periodically for new mail, then you will not get any mail messages in OE. The program might check upon startup which would explain why some messages do get through.
