Browser freezing midway when downloading sites!
 

Hi

I'm on a network, well eh that's two computers networked together. The Internet is working fine on the other computer but on mine the browser freezes midway when downloading alot of sites. Could anyone tell me why this is & the remedy for it please.

Could be lots of reasons - without more info it's difficult to know - post details of the computer you are having the problem with, i.e. Operating System, your Processor, memory, Graphics Card, etc. and which "bowser" you are using - all compared with the "good" machine.

As a start you could check that you have the latest drivers for your Graphics card and update them from the manufacturers web site - this can often cause the problem you are experiencing.

One reason I had with a similar problem was heat. The CPU was not getting enough cooling. It is easily recitfied by adding another fan.

We think it may be happening just with Microsoft sites such as hotmail etc.
