USB Problems

I have fitted a new USB2.0 PCI card in my machine and a break out box on the front slaved fromm the internal USB port on the card.

Everything works fine and no problems so far.

However, my Kingston USB data traveller is not recognised (not even seen) when plugged in and the USB bluetooth dongle doesnt see my phone.
Power is getting to both devices.
No conflicts shown on the hardware in Control panel.

Any suggestions?

Win XP pro with 1 gB ram etc.....

My first thought would be reinstall and reseat the card. If that doesn't work I'd suspect the card itself. Check out the manufacturer's sites, see if there's any problems with it and your motherboard. Otherwise, suspect the card, even if there's power to it.
