Bit of a strange one this..
I have a computer that has a html document as a desktop wallpaper due to a recent malware/spyware infestation. If you right click on the desktop, instead of getting the normal settings menu it just gives the properties of the document (c:\windows\desktop.html) I have deleted the said document from c:\windows but it just brings up a white page now. I need to know, where in the registry the desktop is called, so I can edit it back to what it should be. (assuming I can find out what it should be) Sorry if this sounds confusing but it is hard to explain in words. Many thanks. |
Click Start - settings - control panel - display that will give you the same access as right clicking on the desktop.
