iRiver H340 doesn,t respond

My shiny new iRiver H340 which I bought in BKK has stopped responding. It powers up to the start up screen but then goes no further. I have tried a reset according to the instruction book but that doesnt work. Can anyone help?javascript:smilie(':confused:')
