Webcam Advice, please

I'm looking for a webcam for myself and my Mother, who is housebound. She's pretty PC-savvy but would prefer a USB pug-and-use model if possible. The ability to speak to each other as well would be a bonus.

Can anyone suggest a suitable product?

Many thanks in advance, Ll

If you try http://www.ebuyer.co.uk you should see a good range of products. The Logitech Quickcam "Messenger" isn't too expensive and has a built in microphone.

Llademos,

One of the cameras I recommend most is the:

Logitech QuickCam Pro 4000

But they are not cheap.

Take Care,

Richard

...and they are not quite plugn play - do read the (5 lines) of install instruction. The key point is that you should not plug it in before you have finished the driver install. Been there - done that - and done it all once again :)

I've got the Logitech quickcam jobbie (free with AOL BB, the only good thing to come out of that!)

Does it's job, nice and simple, pretty neat software too.
