Hotmail Problem

My wife and i both using hotmail accounts on the same pc are having this problem. We receive e mail ok but if we get mail with an attachment or link to another site we cannot open them. This has been going on for about a week, we are running windows 98.
Any suggestions would be gratefully received..

What kind of attachment are you talking about?

Also, what links are you unable to open?

A little detail would be very helpful.

Naples........

Richard, our problem was opening a link to another web site., for example, if we received a news sheet or travel offers and you could link to a special travel offer or link to a news story from the e mail, then the link wouldn't open.
However, I also sent a note to hotmail and this morning our account is back to normal so the problem is resolved.
