Autocomplete on Firefox
I have a teensy problem with my Pprune email in Mozilla Firefox. When I start to enter my username it does the autocomplete thing, however the name it brings up is one where fat fingers caused a typo one night, and no amount of typing in the correct spelling will change what the autocomplete comes up with. Nor can I find any way of deleting that name.
I don't use the "remember me" function for security reasons, and Firefox help topics don't include anything on autocomplete. Any suggestions? |
Here's what I found on the subject:
http://blog.codefront.net/archives/2...-17b-released/ http://www.sitepoint.com/forums/showthread.php?t=165066 The first doesn't seem to work all the time, the second page, seems to have good advice, but I haven't tried it. Good luck. Ridley |
Thanks, ridley. Problem solved. To save anybody else with the same problem wading through the site, the answer is a simple Shift-Delete. :ok:
