Excel 28 day hours calculation

Can anybody help me with an excel formula that can calculate my 28 day flying hours. At the moment I'm doing this manually by selecting cells on a second worksheet but it would be useful to have an automatic function.

I am using an excel spreadsheet in a Psion PDA to keep my logbook. My total hours are displayed in column N. In column O I have the 28 day running total.

If you start on day 29 of your log and put in the formula =N29-N1, followed on line 30 by =N30-N2 this should calculate your running 28 day total. (You should then be able to run autofill to programme the rest of your rows)

Hope that helps.

On a new column, use the formula =SUM(C1:C28) in the 28th cell and drag this formula to fill down as much as you need. The values will be incremented automatically ie. the 29th row will have the formula =SUM(C2:C29) giving you your running 28 day total.

EASY.

Cheers.
