Win XP messages
I have recently installed SP2 on my system and now have an annoying niggle.
Every time I start Windows I get a message 'bubble' from the right hand side of the taskbar telling me that my PC is not protected because the firewall is not running - but it is!!! Then when I connect to the internet I get another 'bubble' telling me that I am connected to the internet. Does anybody know how to get rid of these annoying 'bubbles' on a permanent basis without having to click on them every time? They are as annoying as that bl**dy paper clip in Office - killed him though :E :E CC |
Compass Call,
Go into Security Center and click on: Change the way Security Center alerts me Richard |
Thanks for that Richard. Successfully killed the firewall warning. :ok:
Now only got to nail the internet connection 'bubble'. What do you reckon to a 30-06?:E CC |
Compass Call,
Always glad to help. :ok: Take Care, Richard P.S. 30-06 should do nicely. ;) |
