Inbox Problems
 

A couple of nights ago, I clicked on Send/Receive, and saw a momentary flash on the screen, but (I thought) no new incoming emails appeared at the top of my incoming mail in the Inbox.

I don't know what I've done to change the normal order of things, but, after some detective work (by chance!), I found that my Inbox has started a new collection of mail at the bottom- below my earliest emails. If I drag them up, they re-attach themselves to the top. But, new ones start from the bottom again!

Its something to do with Flag Status- the top partition reads- "Flagged Status: Flagged". The bottom one reads “Flagged Status: Normal".

Anyone got any ideas?

try view/sort by think you need to select received and descending

in outlook inbox

Don't know which version of Outlook it first appeared in .... but then I don't know what version you're using.

Try View|Arrange By and if 'Flag' is ticked, untick it.

It would really help knowing which OS you are running and which Email Client you are using.

In outlook or OE, click on the box marked 'received'. This will switch the latest received from the top to the bottom or vice-versa.
