XP and MSN Messenger
When using MSN Messenger on XP Home, you click on the "sign in" button. This brings up a box for email address and password. Unlike earlier versions of Windows, the email address field has a drop-down box for selecting from a range of previously used email addresses.
My question is where are these email addresses stored in XP. Is there any way of clearing out that file so that the drop-down list is empty? Have done a string search of the registry using the email address but nothing shows up anywhere. Not sure if its stored in some specific messenger file somewhere??? |
Try
control panel, user accounts then computer administrator left top of that screen (related tasks box ) click on manage my network passwords should get another window with your listed network addressess select the ones you dont want one at a time and remove |
Many thanks - just what I was after!
