Optical Mouse Installation Problems

Bought a logitech wireless keyboard and mouse today, followed the instructions and installed the software.

Keyboard works fine, but only the buttons on the mouse are working, I can't actually get it to move the cursor.

I went to the Logitech website and downloaded the mouse driver but that hasn't worked either.

The mouse is a Logitech cordless pilot.

Any advice appreciated...

Which OS are you using? Is the mouse in the USB or PS2 Port?

Using Windows 2000 and the mouse is in the PS2 port.
