PPRuNe won't start
 

Is anyone else having problems getting into PPRuNe, or it is me doing something wrong again?

When I click on my PPRuNe bookmark, I get most of the front screen, then a message "Connecting to PPRUNE.BIZ" and it all hangs.

Have I got one of those nasty trojan thingies?

If I click "STOP" then "RELOAD", it seems to get past the nasty, and I can log in and away we go. I just wonder what's happening...

No problems here Keef. It might be worth trying www.pprune.org if you are having trouble with the .biz address.

I am not sure if it would make any difference, but I use .org and haven't had any problems since the move to the new server.

What does the properties of that bookmark say the link is?

My bookmark says www.pprune.org (not .biz) - I don't know where the .biz came from. My experience of .biz is that it's the domain of the spammer.

I think the .biz bit was trying to bring up a pop-up and getting upset because Mozilla won't let it.

Anyway, I deleted the bookmark and recreated it, and all seems OK now.

pprune.biz is just one of the domains that I own and is used for the advertising side of things. just going to pprune.biz will give you a redirect to pprune.org.
