pprune bbuserid cookie
 

My system have accepted 6 cookies from the pprune server but still I have to login with my two keyboard fingers every time I visit. The bbuserid cookie seems to have a lifecycle of only 24 hrs. Can we have 48 hrs pls ?

I'm having a similar experience.

But it's curious. On my Windows XP PC, I haven't been prompted for a logon for ages, whereas on my 98 PC, 1 of three identities is constantly having to login - 12 hours, not 24! - and guess which identity causes me grief? Not the kids, mine :rolleyes:

I have deleted all pprune cookies for the offending account and still have the problem mentioned on another thread, which I did a search for (keyword = cookies).

I take it that the server - not the client - is responsible for the content of the cookie ?

I guess that some identities on my PCs have got old cookies that don't expire, some have newer ones, answering my own question.
