Just the FAX ma'am!!
 

Hi guys,

I have recently changed to an ASDL internet connection.

When I had a dial up modem I had some software for a fax machine (supervoice).

Now that the dial up modem has gone, is there a way of sending fax's through my ASDL connection??

Hi Le Pen,

Can't you connect your PC to the telephone port on your ADSL filter assuming you still have a dial-up modem installed?

LP - I think I aired this one a while back on this forum? I had the same question and the answer seems to be 'use the dial-up modem', as amofw says, with which you can, of course, send and receive while on the b/band connection.

Personally I just subscribe to a fax service which works through Email. The company I use is "Trinite", but they are far from the only people offering such a thing.
