trojan startpage.ed
 

hey folks!

My parents have a virus on their comp, when it starts up it says error and that message about the trojan.

Done a search on it and it came back with about 25,000 results, most in german!

Can anyone help????

anti virus AVG 6.0, when told to run it cant find the virus.

Have them start with the sticky above and run HouseCall to see if there are any other viruses, etc. in their system.

It could be they are getting the error because at bootup, the Registry or the Start Folder is calling for the file (The Trojan) but the file has been removed, so the OS cannot find it.

You can PM me the log if you want to. The image problem is down to the forum reading.. :\ ..in every entry as a smilie.. :D
