Easicom 300

My Mum's got one of these - all it does is dial a premium number to collect/send her email from/to BT Talk 21.

Or did until BT pulled the plug on the service without notifying anyone, and surprise surprise they are not answering emails about it or fob you off with the usual "check your password" answer.

However, the number it dials sounds dead/disconnected.

I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem.

Also, is anyone using an Easicom 1000 - is that still operational?

Yep, got my Mum one of these a couple of years ago. She's computer shy so it was an easy way to get her email connected. Works fine most of the time with occasional minor glitches by BT.
