Yahoo tool bar.....can I exterminate it?

I would welcome any sound advice as to how I can get rid of my Yahoo toolbar.

Isn't in an option is add/remove programs?

if you're using internet explorer try "View/Toolbars" and then uncheck the Yahoo one if it's there......
