Copying stuff from a email
Somebody has emailed me some info, I do not seem to be able to copy and paste this, or copy it to my desktop document folder.
The edit thingy I normaly use to copy and past is unavailable when I am in my email. I know there are a couple of keystrokes that do the same thing as the edit on the desktop, but I cannot remember them. Help?? |

Thanks peeps,I cannot use the select all, the bar along the top
FILE EDIT VIEW FAVORITES TOOLS ect is not available in my email if I resize the email page it is not highlighted, if I click on it the email page disapears. Never mind I will try one of the other tips. I am using win 98 by the way, what I normaly do to copy and save something is highlight the the part I want using the right mouse button click on Edit click on Copy, then open note or wordpad and paste it into that and save it, I know there is prolly a much easier way of doing this but I had to figure out these things by meself Thank you :( |
Do you see the save icon at the top of the email (looks like a floppy disk). If so, click it and you should get a 'save as' pop-up with an option of .txt as the file type.
