Steinberg software & Latency. Help!

Morning all,

I'm using Cubasis go! 3.0 for home recording, but I'm suffering a big latency problem when overdubbing on audio tracks - up to half a second.

The config is an athlon xp2400, 80 gig hdd & a creative sb live! sound card. I need a few pointers on how to reduce the latency on this software or the program really becomes fairly useless.

Go to the kX site, download the driver, and have a read of the FAQ/forum. kX has a very low latency and, hopefully, might solve your problem.
