How to stop "Favorites" from hiding some items?
This topic might have been done before, but I could not find it by using search (probably I'm not paying enough attention, for which I apologise), so here it goes again.
How do you stop some items of "Favorites" from being "hidden" in Explorer and Internet Explorer? What I am referring to are those items that Explorer claim that I do not use often get hidden under the "arrow". If I place the cursor on the arrow, I know they appear, but I want everything to be displayed without the irritating arrow. I hope I am making myself clear as to what I want. The operating system is XP Pro. I manage to do it on my old system but I cannot for the life of me remember how I did that. Your help would be very much appreciated. |
Select Internet Explorer page.....
Select "Tools" Select "Internet Options" Select "Advanced" (tab at the top) UNCHECK "Enable Personalized Favorites Menu" |
Terrific! That's worked. Thank you very much.
I've seen that tick box before but never thought that it would hide some items. That's very impersonal as far as I'm concerned! |
