Strange new folder

I'm hoping that one of you experts out there can help solve a little mystery.

Today i did a check of my wife's laptop as she thought it might be going a little slow. She has a Lenova Yoga running Win 10.

I found a strange new folder in her Documents folder called "Documents_files" (stet) with 24 odd files in it such as f(1),f(2) up to f(6); impb; osd.js.download; cookieconsent.min (the latter of of type Cascading Style Sheet Document which I have never heard of before) and various other weird stuff.

Nothing untoward seems to have happened to our on line banking, but I hate seeing something that I don't understand.

I'm hoping that someone might know what has happened?

I suggest you install a programme called Superantispyware. Run it and see if you have picked up something unpleasant.

I’ve used it for some years and upgraded to the paid for version. It’s prevented trouble quite a few times on my PCs.

This looks like a downloaded web page.
I am not an expert in this but I am sometimes not bad at guessing.

I just did a test and I did right click/Save As. Choose web page complete.
It creates an html file which by default is called
web-page-name.html and a folder called
web-page-name_files
The latter contains all the files required to construct the web page including in the case of the one I tried various of the form xxx.js.download

css files are a normal part of web pages.

Your one may be from a GPDR , EU consent web page.

Just delete the files if they are not wanted.

Edit:-
If curious --
you could just open the page I guess, I can't see how it can do any harm since it has already been opened before being saved. Click on the Documents.html file in the top level directory. But then as I said I am not an expert.

Or open the html file in notepad which would be completely safe. There may be clues as to the origin of the page therein.

OSD may be related to OpenSearch description format
which is indeed used by imdb (not impb).

Thank you all very much. I did as you suggested and got a quote for pet insurance! Problem solved.

Now all deleted.

It was the date of 1/1/21 that added to my suspicions.

Have you defragged it to speed it up? I use a windows washer program to clean all the junk off. I use the full version of this.
