Incorrect image folder icon
SanDisk Extreme Portable 1TB SSD connected via USB3 to a Dell Latitude 7400 2-in-1 running Windows 10 Enterprise version 10.0.18363.
This is my scratch disk on which I process images. I have a folder for each camera and have the File Explorer view set to Large Icons. Each time I have finished processing files I move them to my archive leaving the camera folder empty. Why does W10 insist on still showing the folder icon as it if has files in it? The only solution I have found is to delete the folder when done, and re-create it ready for next time. Only then does it show as empty. This might sound trivial but part of my workflow involves knowing that the files from a particular camera have been processed and moved without needing to open the folder or other software to check. Many thanks! XV105 |
