Video Messaging with typed text
 

I thought I might run past the esteemed computer-literate members of Proon a scenario that may have a simple solution.

I have an elderly rello with whom we converse via Facetime. Problem is, said rello is getting very hard of hearing.

What I'm wondering is whether there is an app/video conferencing system that would allow us to type messages on the screen so she can read them and then reply verbally. Similar to subtitles, I suppose.

We're using ipads.

Skype can do that.
