Another reason to avoid Adobe on Macs

Fury after Adobe Creative Cloud deletes files - BBC News

While not stated in the above report the problem lies with giving Adobe software 'administrators' rights when authorising automatic updates.

Sloppy, and perhaps criminal if you ask me.

Steve Jobs was right, stay away from Adobe.

Also, Flash can be a right pain in the arse when they issue an update (which frequently won't download).

Here's their apology:

In a statement, Adobe said: "On the 12 Feb we were notified that some customers had an issue with an update to the Creative Cloud Desktop application.
"We removed the update from distribution and deployed a new one which addresses the issue."

Note to all Creative Cloud Desktop users. If your application was updated either automatically or manually you will have lost a system/hidden file from your root directory. Good luck. Do NOT empty your trash until you know what's happened.

Doubt it. He totally lost his rag during one of our interchanges and I haven't seen him since.
