Daily Mail - comments section

Hi all,

would appreciate advice, I'm sure the solution is simple.

Recently when viewing the Daily Mail online, when I click on the 'comments' no comments show. ( the comments are usually more interesting than the stories ! )

I can't recall changing any settings but I asume I must have.

Using XP, Internet Explorer.

How can I get the comments back :)

Regards,

coldair

Maybe be you have a setting on your browser :
"Filter the illiterate drivel of the great unwashed" YES/NO

It could be that the Völkischer Beobachter On-Line's website is no longer compatible with your version of IE? I know that in my final weeks with IE8 and WinXP, many websites wouldn't load correctly at times, or were slowed down by advertising-induced contamination.

Have you tried a different browser, such as Mozilla Firefox?

Using XP

I hope you have drawn a pentacle around your PC and lit candles at the points and put powdered garlic in the valleys. You know who will pop up and castigate you if you make such dreadful admissions.

However, to be serious, your problem should be resolved using Chrome. Better still don't visit the Daily Mail's website.

There are so many problems here I don't know where to start.

- Reading the Daily Mail
- Reading the Daily Mail Online (worse)
- Reading the comments section of any news website (except Slashdot)
- Reading the comments section of the Daily Mail Online (heinous)
- Doing the above using IE8 on XP (unforgivable)

I believe that the following possibilities exist:
1. you are a troll
2. you are doing some research into mediocre clickbait sensationalist media, with a low IT budget
3. you are a peculiarly enthusiastic sado-masochist
4. you can't read and just like the pictures
5. you are doing it ironically

No support for Windows XP connected to the internet will be provided on this forum.

The OS is no longer secure and is a danger to the internet.
