Use of wireless hub on Emirates flight
I have a Kingston Mobilite wireless hub. If I plug a portable hard drive in up to 3 of us can access the drive at the same time. In effect we can all watch different films at the same time if the airlines choice doesn't suit. So I can use my iPad while others can use Android tablets for watching.
The Mobilite transmits a limited range wireless signal which users log into. Now my question is can I use this device while airborne? I did contact Emirates who had no idea what I was talking about. |

Hence, in a nutshell I think you're fine. However this isn't a definitive statement just an opinion based on the known facts. :) (don't sue me) |
