Links being created in posts
 

Saw something strange for the first time today. When I published a post, a couple of the words automatically became hyperlinks to external sites. Is this something on PPRUNE or my system?

Your system - it's probably malware called Text Enhance. Anything like this? How To Remove Text Enhance Malware - Text Enhance Virus Removal Instructions | Malware Removal - Software & Tutorials

I had the same thing, Malwarebytes got rid of it and I made sure that I deleted it in the control panel since it was obviously residing there as the latest program added.

It is because of malware or they are just an anchor text?

PPRune do not use anchor text in the posts. Check the page source for yourself?
