Actually it was me that deduced this.

See the thread in the Admin Forum called "Add Content" - for the benefit of non-mods here's a brief summary:

Senior Pilot kindly confirmed my hypothesis by posting a "blank" from an iphone app. as I don't have a smartphone / IPad.

Thanks, guys. "Add content" is caused by members writing blank posts (accidentally, presumably) on outdated versions of the PPRuNe mobile app. If clearly legit members are making "Add content" posts, you'll want to remind them to upgrade to the latest version.

sonsama91 may or may not be legit, but I have sent him/her a mobile app upgrade reminder just in case. We've taken care of Nancy00.

Thanks, guys, we've been catching these spammers pretty much at the same time you guys are seeing them and are also banning IP addresses and ranges in some cases.
