Shortcut question
What I´m trying to do is create some kind of shortcut on my desktop to two sound devices so I can simply select one or the other.
At present I have to go start>control panel>Hardware and sound>Manage audio devices and then select between the two options. Reason for doing this is my headphones use an optical jack and my speakers a normal jack. Using win 7 home 64 bit and the two audio devices in the sound> playback panel are Altavoces -normal jack and Realtek Digital output for the optical. So is there an easier way of switching between the two without having to go through all the options every time? Thanks for any advice. |
I have a shortcut to sndvol32.exe on my desktop, Is that what you're looking for?
(maybe sndvol64 in your case) |
Should be able to Right Click and hold the mouse on your audio device icon, and then drag the icon to your Desktop. Release mouse button and select shortcut from the option offered.

Unfortunately drag and drop doesnt work, but looking for the programe file and adding a shortcut might... I´ll have to investigate further.
Thanks |
I think you might be...
in View by Category, select View by Large (or small) icons. It's top right of the CP.
You should then see your Audio Control panel. |
Thats it!
Thank you Spurlash. Perfect :ok: |
