iphone or andriod navigation/pilot apps?

The mrs has just got herself a new Galaxy S2. Are there any free navigation apps out there that anyone knows of? Ive seen screen shots on the iphone of some apps with the full 6 pack of instruments etc.
Even a basic direct to function would be handy.

yep, cant recall the exact name, could be X-Planner. its on iphone anyway, as a spin off of the Xplane flight sims, on app store too.
