Beaming a ADSL connection 2km

How do I beam with line of sight a ADSL connection 2km when the company wont connect me up?

Both places would be fixed.

Are both your property ? (freehold, not just a leaseholder)

If one is the telco building or you don't own the bricks then we're talking a different kettle of fish altogether because you're going to have to get lawyers involved to arrange wayleave for a start.

One will be my property and the other, I will rent a 'plot' for $10 a month. I don't think I will have a problem, I will just put it behind the palm 30 - 40 foot trees, worse that can happen is I bribe a Police officer $15 and then if still a problem, a $30 tip to a cop will have it sorted. ****, I got booked for 163km hrs in a 80 zone 4 days ago according to the police officer, $3 bribe fixed it, I can't handle all that western regulation crap you refer to with lawyers and stuff, I thank you for the reply very much though. Corruption and Gov Bribes is just more open in some countries.

We used to beam town center CCTV pictures from the top of one tower block to another using IR transmitter and receivers, they were buggas to line up though.

We have done it using simple wifi routers, albeit ones that you can attach an external directional antenna to.

I think our (well the company's) best effort was nearly 10km of streamed radar images.

Obviously if there are things in the way you might have a problem and all ours have been short term - over 2 or 3 weeks so I don't know the longer term reliability.

Sorry, I thought you lived in a Western country.

I'm not going to comment on your post, but if that's the way you personally like to do things.....then suerely there is only one question to your question :

How do I beam with line of sight a ADSL connection 2km when the company wont connect me up?
