SRware Iron Browser..

I'm currently using Firefox but it's getting a bit resource heavy for my ageing XP lappy so I want to try a different browser. I tried Chrome a while back and liked it but was less than chuffed with Googles data ownership policy so I removed it. I've just found SR's Iron browser which uses the google Chrome engine but strips out all the nasty tracking bits. Anyone used it? What do you think?

SRWare Iron - The Browser of the Future

I'm using Iron and have no real issues with it. It has the addons I need (adblock and flashblock) and runs better than FF. It does what it says on the tin, and does it well.

I've been using it for a while now, it's fast, no real issues and it has an IE tab for when a site wont work with Iron.

Hadn't heard of that, thanks.

You could try Chromium - non-Googly open sourced version of Chrome. :)

Installed the SRware browser and have been using it for a few days now. Like Granite said it's fast and effective. Exactly what a browser should be like!

thanks for the advice.

SRWare Iron is a great browser....If you need add ons for it, all the Chrome add ons work.....AdBlock certainly completes it for me....:ok:
