Monday Morning blues

OK, I need quick fix here..
PC (video editing) shut down Friday afternoon OK. Not even looked at since.
Switch on this morning - nothing. Dual monitors not coming out of standby, all fans running, not sure about booting up noises tho'.
Asus 5KPC. 2.4 Quad Pentium, 500 gb main drive, 4 gb RAM, GeForce Graphics 512. XP pro. Worked like a trojan for over a year, not a single glitch.
Need to sort it quick, any suggestions - change graphics card first?
Cheers.

OK there must be some power to the M/C as the fans are running.

There should be at least one bleep during post, Is the disc light coming on? If neither is happening I would suspect the psu. If both are happening then probably video card. But first of all take the cover of and unplug and re-plug all the connectors, and lift and replace the video card.

GG
Many, many thanks for the flow chart. Wasn't getting a start beep and no light so - PSU. Ladder located, long dig in the attic, old tower with enough juice-type psu, down ladder. Back to the plot, check board connector, while I'm at it wiggle memory, cards, anything that wiggles. Hey presto! Faced with the prospect of an alien psu the blasted thing capitulates and returns to work. Now what I want to know is who comes in at the weekend and does the first bit of wiggling??

Thanks again
