e-mail attachments
 

More often than not, when I try to access attachments on e-mails, the attachment doesn't appear. The problem seems to imply that I do not have the correct viewer for the attachment but, when I go to the suggested web page to get a download there is a bewildering list of possibilities. I have contacted the ISP and they have sent a test mail with an attachment that was OK. Any advice or suggestions would be gratefully received. Thanks folks.

I hope I am not teaching Granny to suck eggs here, but attachments need to be treated with the utmost caution. If I receive one, I either delete it, of telephone the sender to verify it. On two occasions the senders had no knowledge that they had emailed me.
