FireFox/Pprune anomaly

Hi all
Any idea what's causing this using firefox...........
1) There is no 'reply' bubble at the end of a page.
2) There is no 'go to last post' arrow '>' next to the last posters user name.
3) There is no 'new thread' bubble.
4) Also the captains sleeve thumbs up/down does not show.

I'm using IE6 to post this. Any ideas?

Daz
ps. nor does the 'edit/reply' bubble show in my posts.

I'm using FF 2.0.0.14 and I have none of the problems you describe.

I suggest it's your settings. Normal recommendations involving clearing cache and cookies. update and / or re-install FF.

I'm on the latest FF and everything's OK, although PPRuNe itself is running very slowly indeed today (and it's not the connection, every other website I'm visiting this pm is working fine).

I'd give it the rest of the day and if there's a problem tomorrow, clear your caches. If that doesn't work, I'm afraid it's a reload FF job.

May as well wait until the FF3 download day! :)

dazdaz, do you get any text links instead of the bubbles, or do you get nothing at all? I suspect some setting in your FF preferences to be responsible for this. E.g. if I do not allow FF to load images automatically, I get a similar behaviour as you describe..

Help.....please !

When I try to start a new thread, I can type a new subject, but cannot type anything into the message body text as it is greyed out?

I have successfully posted a couple of replies to message but they are not showing up in the threads or in searches under my name?

Thanks in advance

Dazdaz

tools/options/content/load images automatically should do the trick for you.
