Looks fascinating for anyone with an interest in aviation and useful to many other people. Does anybody know when it starts operating?

I'm afraid I don't know exactly when its due to come on line....but from what I hear.. within in the next couple of months...

it should be of particular interest to flight crews' families....

Any idea how much it will cost?

I believe free of charge you could check the NATS website for any updates.

From enquiries at nats.co.uk, "It is now planned that the service will go live online from about the middle of November, accessible directly through www.flightpathuk.com. The cost to
aviation enthusiasts is likely to be a monthly subscription of £10. Full details will be made available nearer the actual launch date."

thanks eric! i don't know if it'll be worth
£120.00 a year....

Real time flight tracking over the planet.
On the larger scale maps you can see weather.
And it's free.

Tried but failed with your suggested website, despite looking for known British Airways services inbound to Birmingham (UK). Does this site specialise in long-haul/North American flights?
