Internet explorer and working offline
I have a recurring problem with internet explorer with that it sometimes says I'm working offline, even if I have a full internet connection it will say "You are working offline, click here to connect", which, when pressed comes up with "Dial up connection, MSN, blah, blah, blah". The thing I don't understand is that I can have programmes such as streaming radio and messenger running, but it still says I'm not connected. It's more of a nuissance than anything else, but how can I stop it from asking to connect?

Go to "Tools", "Internet Options", "Connections", click "Never Dial A Connection".
That should do it. |
I recommend to use Firefox.
In the past I had a lot of errors like you. |
IE - working offline
:ok:
Thanks for that Kwachon. I had the IE offline problem too - cured now. Cheers |
