Old style Hotmail

I have a hotmail account and was quite happy with the old style presentation. This has now transformed itself into windows live. How do I get the old version back?

Get rid of Hotmail, it's total cack. You will only realise how nasty it is to use when you move over to Gmail.

you can't. Windows is upgrading all hotmail users to windows live, sadly you have no choice in the matter.

Hotmail - Classic Version

When I log into Hotmail, I get the message:

"This is the classic version of Windows Live Hotmail
This version works better with your browser. The full version of Windows Live Hotmail runs on Internet Explorer 6.0 and higher (make sure you check the system requirements before you install it). The full version also works on Firefox 1.5."

But I'm using Opera - so still get the "Classic" version.

So you could go down this route?

I've no particular love for Hotmail above other web e-mail options, but I've been using this address for seven years and despite increasing spam don't want to change if I don't have to

Regards
Martin

I've been with Hotmail for a few years and the Windows Live version is really good once you get used to it. Stick with it!! :)

I've been with Hotmail for so long, can't be arsed to change and the functionality is still pretty much the same - I have a "private" email account as well. get no spam on that, and actually very little on hotmail
