ad banners

Not a technical problem - but how much cash would you estimate PPrune generates in advertising revenue each year?

Interesting question, although not for me to say.

How much do you think it costs to keep pprune running every month????

My web site earns more than enough from advertising to pay for the hosting costs ... but nowhere near enough to pay for my time maintaining it.

I wouldn't be astonished if this were to scale (for sites not primarily designed to make money from advertising). I would also not be astonished if more money came in from the Google ads than from the banners.

Does it matter, as long as the site stays up, and 'membership' is free. If you want to make money, get your own idea for a web site and charge what you want.

If you are using firefox, you never see them, especially with AdBlock, that is why I use it, no Ads. Plus I bet this site makes a bomb anyway. I mean they have a person in Liverpool, who just deals with advertsiers. i bet it is loads!

:ok:
